Permalayer™ is a versatile underlay for setting tile and stone over any suitable subfloor. The material is designed so that the adhesive locks into the mat and subsequently creates a strong bonded system that will withstand repeated stress while still maintaining its tenacious bond.
Apply over concrete, mortar beds, screeds, masonry, post-tensioned, pre-strssed and lightweight concrete, primed OSB, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, and underfloor heating systems. The membrane must be covered with a tile or laminate and not to be used as a wear surface. |

Installation - 5 Easy Steps
|
1. Apply suitable adhesive to the substrate using a 5 x
6mm v-notched trowel or 4 x 4mm square notched
trowel. |

2. Cut roll to the required length. Unroll
Permalayer™ and place it into the previously applied
wet adhesive. |
|
3. Immediately work Permalayer™ into the adhesive
using a hand roller or the flat side of a trowel. |
|
4. Repeat procedure for next section of Permalayer™.
Abut side edges and ends of adjacent sheets. |
|
5. Install tiles immediately after installation of
Permalayer™ is complete using the thin-bed method.
The open time of the adhesive must be observed. |
